ABOUT DIRECTORATE OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION, ASSAM


The Directorate of Technical Education, Assam was established in 1960. There are 07 (seven) Engineering Colleges and 26 (Twenty-six) Polytechnics in this Directorate.
State Council for Technical Education was established in1956 and 26 Government Polytechnics are affiliated under this Council.
